Snapshots

- The tags in the upper left act like buttons. They filter the tabs showing.
- The circled plus underneath them will show the rest of the lesser tags.
- Enough tags will always be showing to fully organize the open tabs.
- There will be some way to select multiple tags to show more tabs. This will either be done with shift/ctrl select or multiple tag buttons could be depressed at once.
- When a tab is selected the font for the tags will change size, weight or color in order to reflect the individual tab's tag cloud.
- Tabs can be dragged and dropped into tags to add that tag to their local tag cloud.
- Also a way to add to and create custom tag clouds will be found by right clicking on a tab. Preview coming soon.
- In a new design I will probably make the tag buttons look more like the smart folders for consistency and space saving.
- The smart folders in the lower left will work a lot like they do in Itunes or the Mail.app in OS X. Rules will include tag cloud, last accessed, date opened etc.
- Smart folders inherently create good, strong search queries so the last tab in each smart folder could be a suggestions page drawing from google and delicious.
- The plus under the smart folders allows you to create a new tag or a new smart folder, seen below.
A variation on this design would be to change the sidebar into a dropdown bar. The user could then open the sidebar if needed.
